If you haven't already booked a place on the IMPACT conference Banquet please do so as soon as possible as we need to confirm final numbers on Monday 7th of September.

Time: Each day runs from 9.30am - 4.30/5pm - depending on papermaking
Price: The cost for the week is £330, which includes all materials (except screens/mesh), lunch, teas and coffees. There is a 20% discount available on our short courses for all full-time students, senior citizens, unwaged, UWE Staff and alumni members (proof required for all concessions).

Concerns about Swine Flu
IMPACT 6 is aware that there may be concerns about the current situation of Swine Flu, and advise that there are currently no cases of staff or students at the Bower Ashton site of the University of the West of England (IMPACT 6 location) having contracted or suffering symptoms of Swine Flu. Please see the current information and advice provided by UWE. We advise that this situation does not currently pose a risk to the conference, or to attending delegates and that we will post any information on the IMPACT news page to keep you informed.

Last call for submissions!

The Royal West of England Academy (Bristol, UK) Open Print Exhibition submissions deadline is fast approaching. Follow the link below to visit the RWA website, where you can download relevant forms to accompany submissions.


A project which will be included in the program of IMPACT 6 exhibitions is looking for artists to be involved in producing artwork. "Signs of the times," is organised by Stefanie Dykes of the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah USA and Curtis Readel of Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, Illinois, USA, and is open to 25 graduate artists who would like to see their work translated to signage format and appear at the IMPACT conference in September 2009.
