| Stephen Westland is Professor of Colour Science and Technology and Head of the School of Design at the University of Leeds. He held posts at Keele and Derby universities prior to his appointment at Leeds in 2003. His research interests span the multi-disciplinary field of colour and he has published more than 100 refereed publications in topics such as colour science, colour physics, colour imaging, colour psychology and colour design. His is academic editor of Colour: Design and Creativity and a member of the international editorial board of Coloration Technology. In 2008 he was awarded the Davies Medal form the Royal Photographic Society for his research into colour imaging. | |||
