Educated Australia
1975-78 BA Newcastle CAE, NSW Australia, 1986 MA City Art Institute Sydney.
1988 –93 Studio Supervisor Printmaking, Sydney College of the Arts.
Worked and exhibited during this time in Australia and Japan.
Returned to the UK 1994,
1996-2000 PhD studies UWE AMD Bristol. UK.
1999 to present Post - Doctoral Research, CFPR Bristol, specialising in photomechanical, digital and 3D printing practice, industrial age print history, print theory and the supervision of PhD & MPhil students.

Paul lectures on print, makes prints, exhibits and writes about print on a national and international basis. He has also curated a number of exhibitions based on his research including ‘Collotype Past and Present’ at the St Bride Printing Library, London and the ongoing Committed to Print series which has been shown at the Royal West of England Academy 2007, Northern Print 2008, London Print Studio 2009. The latest in the Committed to Print series will be a featured exhibition at IMPACT 2009.
