Of French nationality, I have lived and worked in the UK since 1997, currently as a senior graphic designer for IOP Publishing in Bristol, which publishes the academic journals of the UK Institute of Physics and other learned societies. Born in 1975, I completed a five-year French education in fine art, graphic design / visual communication, a one-year vocational qualification in pre-press and industrial printing processes, followed by twelve years experience in the field of graphic design and publishing.

I am currently studying part-time for a practice-led PhD at the University of the West of England, Bristol, on the topic of the visualisation of physics through art, with Paul Thirkell, Iain Biggs and Brett Wilson as my supervisory team.

Recent projects include:

Investigation of the concept of ‘neutral / neutrality’ in physics, with the creation of 3 artworks, published alongside an article by Prof. Gary Peters, in Neutral magazine, York St John University (launch issue, May 2009)

Commission of a series of artworks based on scientific research in the field of nanotechnology, for the newly-built Centre for Nanoscience and Quantum Information, University of Bristol, working in collaboration with Prof Mervyn Miles (October 2008)
