Maja Stanić (b. 1981, Zagreb, Croatia) has received her graduation diploma in Graphic Technology from the Faculty of Graphic Arts, University of Zagreb (2006), where she works as well. She is currently undertaking a PhD research at the postgraduate study Graphic Engineering at the same university. Her PhD thesis work concerns the inner and surface structure properties, colour issues and permanence of 3D ink-jet printing materials and prints. 3D ink jet printing is a propulsive new technique, creating 3D objects on the basis of conventional ink jet printing. Maja’s research interests are novel printing techniques such as 3D ink-jet printing, developments in digital printing techniques, print quality assessment and the use of image analysis techniques in papermaking and printing technology.
