Anne Stagg is a painter currently living in Tallahassee, Florida. Her paintings and constructions are often modular and are installed in response to their surrounding environment.
Her recent work also includes artist books. Her work has been exhibited in numerous cities across the United States and she has received an individual artist grant from the Alabama State Council on the Arts and two faculty research grants from Florida State University.
Anne Stagg received her MFA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is currently an Assistant in Art at Florida State University where she teaches drawing and advanced seminars for both undergraduate and graduate students.
Stagg is the Director of the BFA Studio Art Program and a founding member of Small Craft Advisory Press (SCAP) at Florida State University.
