Holly Hanessian is a mid-career visual artist. She has exhibited her work in China, India, New Zealand and Italy as well as in many locations nationally. She lives in Tallahassee, Florida where she is Associate Chair of the Art Department and directs the ceramics program. She has given slide lectures and workshops at over 30 different colleges and universities as well as having been featured in several magazines and books including, “The Ceramic Narrative” by Matthias Ostermann and “500 Ceramic Sculptures” by Glen R. Brown. Her most recent exhibits include an installation at the Bentley Projects gallery in downtown Phoenix in April of 2009 and inclusion in Hard Copy, Book as Sculpture in the National Museum of Women in Art in Washington DC. |
