With assistance from the AHRC, Stephanie is pursuing a practice-based PhD at the University of the West of England. Prior to this she studied at Glasgow School of Art and the University of the West of England and worked as a freelance illustrator, designing and exhibiting nationally and internationally. Key concerns include: complementary and divergent relationships between text and image, illustration and companion piece; appallingly bad jokes; and an undercurrent of contemporary environmental and social interest.
